History:

African National Engineering Pty Ltd. (ANE) was established in 1996 to meet the requirements of the Black Empowerment program.

ANE operates through three streams of business:
  • Port, Lifting and Material Handling Equipment Supply
  • Light Fabrication
  • Assembly and Maintenance of Port Equipment

ANE comprises a team of well known and highly regarded senior managers whose experience over many years has created a company with a focus on strong leadership, clear strategies and a well organized management approach that nurtures the effectiveness of all project participants.

Delivery Approach:

ANE’s delivery approach does not impose fixed commercial models onto its clients. It can deliver as a:

and can tailor projects specific to commercial arrangements that align with the clients primary objectives with respect to achieving a fit for purpose project at the lowest cost.

Through continuous training programmes ANE constantly improve the skills of the staff and offer them skills through work experience.


Workshop Facilities:

ANE has a well equipped workshop facility, with a well trained staff to compliment the facilities. We offer on-site repairs, to heavy industrial equipment, with workshops.

ANE Directors

Frank Moodliar, Managing Director
Mr Moodliar has over 20 years experience in the marine service industry. He is the senior member of Thekweni Marine and was appointed as Managing Director of ANE in 2001.  

Barry Kearney, Director
Mr. Kearney is Operational Director with some 25 years experience in heavy industry equipment supply, both in South Africa and internationally.
